Delivery of DDS First Aid Training Courses
Course Delivery – Covid-19
We are pleased to confirm we have re-commenced delivering our full range of courses, both those with certificated qualifications as well as our awareness level training.
The provision of these will continue to observe our Covid-19 secure training guidelines to ensure the safety of both our trainers and delegates.
Course venues will be risk assessed and maximum class sizes determined to observe safe and socially distanced first aid training. There are still some changes in our course delivery, training resources and equipment, although we hope to gradually reintroduce the previous course delivery style our clients enjoyed.
Resuscitation Guidelines 2021
On 5 May 2021 the Resuscitation Council (UK) published their Guidelines 2021; where these have been revised, we will start incorporating any changes into our courses.
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
Community Public Accessible Defibrillators are to be registered on a new database called The Circuit – the national defibrillator network. This is supported by The British Heart Foundation, in partnership with the Resuscitation Council (UK) and Association of Ambulance Chief Executives. Although each ambulance service has AEDs listed in their respective area The Circuit will aim to link all these into one database that is accessible throughout the various ambulance services.
Please get in touch to discuss your requirements, we can advise on the most appropriate courses and help you to ensure you have the first aid cover required to serve your clients, staff and anyone that comes into contact with your business.
Remember an employer should make an assessment of first aid needs appropriate to the circumstances (hazards and risks) of each workplace and the work undertaken.
